Attacker jailed for glassing man who mistakenly sipped his drink

A man has been jailed for two years after glassing another man in the head for mistakenly sipping his drink, leaving him scarred for life.
Daniel Watts, 25, from Rugeley, pleaded guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after the attack on Daniel Jones in the Goodridge pub in Burton.

Burton man given community order after bar fracas

Alex Hincks, from Burton, accidentally hit a party-goer in the face with a glass with a glass, a court has heard. Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court heard that the 27-year-old struck a stranger at Bar So with a glass from a distance of three or four feet after bouncers asked the party to leave. The injured party sustained a cut close to his eye and Hincks was sentenced to a 12-month community order.

TOWIE star glassed in club

Reality television star Charlie Sims, from TOWIE, has been glassed in the face by a fan. Charlie, 22, was clubbing at a Mayfair nightspot when a female clubber came up and attacked him with a glass on his left cheek. After receiving medical treatment, Charlie’s face has healed, but has caused permanent damage to his face.

A Scarborough woman handed herself into police on Tuesday after allegedly glassing a man in Mount Hawthorn on Friday. The man was taken to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for treatment of a deep cut on his left brow.

A chinese man is facing trial on a serious assault charge after he allegedly struck and injured another man with a glass jug in a fight in a Dublin nightclub. Zhongbo Li (32) is alleged to have assaulted the man, causing facial injuries in the incident in a Temple Barclub.
