Witnesses sought following Wagga glassing

Wagga police in Australia are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a daylight glassing in central Wagga on Friday. Police say two men were involved in an altercation  where it is alleged one of the men, 26, punched a 29-year-old before cutting him on the neck with either a broken glass or bottle.

Mother given community order for glassing

Mother-of-two, Jade Norton, who glassed a man with an empty champagne flute, has avoided jail and been handed a community corrections order instead. Bendigo Magistrates Court heard Norton was drinking at the All Seasons Hotel in Victoria, Australia, last September when a fight broke out and Norton had glassed a man who received serious lacerations requiring seven to eight stitches in hospital.

Woman glassed stranger at pub

Swansea crown court has sentenced Kellie Peach, 32, to 12 months in prison, suspended for two years, after she glassed a stranger in the face in a Milford Haven pub car park. Peach admitted wounding David Clark outside the Alma pub after she mistook him for someone else.

Two women have been jailed after they assaulted a grandmother, stamping on her with a stiletto heel and then smashing a glass in her face.

Stephen Anthony Boscoscuro has been sentenced to a minimum five months' jail after he glassed a man at a New South Wales pub while on his stag weekend last year.
