Three in court over glassing

Three men have appeared in court after being charged over a glassing incident at a Young hotel on Monday night. A 20-year-old man approached a group of about 10 people in a hotel on Boorowa Street when a fight broke out. Both the 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old man sustained minor injuries, while a 21-year-old man sustained a cut to his head after being struck by a glass bottle.

Colne man gets suspended sentence for glass attack

A Colne man who smashed a pint glass in his friend’s face the day after an engagement party has been given a suspended prison sentence at Burnley Crown Court. He admitted unlawful wounding and was jailed for 12 months, suspended for 18 months, and fined £700.

Ettalong club glassing

Police are hunting for a man who is suspected of glassing another man in Ettalong, New South Wales. An argument started inside a club they were in when one of the men picked up a schooner glass and smashed it into the back of the other man’s head. The injured man was treated at the scene for a serious laceration to his head and his right ear.

Jailed for Uttoxeter pub glass attack

A drinker at the Steeplechase bar in Uttoxeter who hit another pub customer with a glass has been jailed for six months. Anthony Swinson launched the attack on Mr Sam Withington leaving him with a one inch cut above his ear - and no recollection of the incident, Stafford crown court heard.

Woman jailed for glassing neighbour who complained about party music

A woman who threw a glass in the face of a neighbour complaining about noise at a party, causing her to lose an eye, has been jailed for three years.
