Man charged with glassing clubber’s face

Karl Harffy (33) has been accused of assaulting and injuring a young man in a Dublin nightclub incident using a glass. The victim was treated at hospital in December for lacerations to the face and eye damage. A book of evidence will be prepared and the case sent for jury trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Order for glass attack man

Stuart Ross struck a party-goer on the head with a glass, after he was ‘smutty’ to his girlfriend and touched her thigh. Ross, 49, from Inverness, was sentenced to 100 hours of unpaid community work and ordered to undergo an alcohol treatment programme and be under social work supervision for a year.

Glassing at family pub

Two people were taken to hospital after reports that a woman was glassed in a Worksop pub on Saturday night. Police are waiting to speak to both to gain further information.

Man charged over glassing in Campbelltown

Police have charged a man with reckless wounding over a glassing at a club in Sydney on Friday. A 21-year-old man was drinking with friends at the venue in Campbelltown when he was approached by a 27-year-old man who allegedly smashed a schooner glass on his head causing a 3cm cut to his scalp.

Man glassed outside Brighton train station

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was glassed during a night out in Brighton. The victim was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where he was treated for a deep gash to the head and other cuts to his face, head and neck.
